Terms of Service

Vimo lets adults contribute task videos and synchronized phone-motion data for robotics and artificial-intelligence research and development. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account and eligibility information, and comply with the project brief and applicable law. Access to a project is subject to country, equipment and qualification requirements. There is no guarantee that projects will be available.

Keep your account secure and do not share access or impersonate another person. Report unauthorized use through Help and support. You may stop using Vimo and request deletion from Settings at any time. We may restrict an account for fraud, unsafe recording or a material violation, and you can ask for review through support. Restriction does not by itself cancel legitimately accrued earnings.

Record only where you have permission. Do not record while driving, in dangerous situations, or where recording interferes with your responsibilities. Keep children, non-consenting bystanders, private conversations, screens, passwords, medical or financial information and other sensitive material out of the frame. Stop if anyone objects. Do not submit material you lack permission to provide. Vimo records task video without audio.

The project brief sets the task, rate, duration limits and acceptance criteria. Rates apply to approved footage, not elapsed work or upload time. Equipment checks and rejected recordings are unpaid. You may appeal a rejection in the app. In-app withdrawals are not available. Contact Help and support or info@t-apps.nl to enquire about payout of approved earnings. A payment method and payment date are not yet confirmed, and sending a request does not guarantee immediate payment. Reaching a displayed threshold does not enable in-app withdrawal. A future app update has no promised release date. These limitations do not cancel legitimately approved earnings. The contributor agreement governs rights and project services.

The Privacy Policy explains account information, video, motion, location, storage and recipients. Device permission is separate from agreement to these terms. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, although required features may then be unavailable. Third-party AI/robotics use requires the separate explicit permission described in the contributor agreement.

You remain responsible for your conduct and the material you submit. Vimo is responsible for its own legal obligations; these terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes will be presented for renewed acceptance before further work under the changed terms. Changes do not retrospectively change the rate or rights applicable to an existing submission.

Use Help and support to raise a problem, appeal a decision or exercise a privacy right. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer, worker or data-protection rights or prevents you from contacting an appropriate authority or court.
